Messy Church is a monthly event aimed at primary school and pre-school children and their families (yes, Mums and Dads too!).
We generally meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month for an hour of messy crafts and a short children’s worship time followed by a sit down meal. Each Messy Church is themed around a Bible story with a wide variety of activities such as gluing, sticking, painting, modelling and cooking.
A sit down meal provides the opportunity to eat as a family, with other families, and to have a night off from washing up. (Oh, and the amazing kitchen helpers make the most fabulous array of puddings for us!)
The afternoon as a whole is a great opportunity for parents to socialise and spend time making a mess with their children and not worrying about the carpets!
We are now into our sixth year of running Messy Church and it is proving a very popular activity for many families from the village and the wider community.
If you would like to know more or to let us know you are coming (so there is enough food!) then please contact the Church Office or the Messy Church team at RSMessyChurch@googlemail.com.
Keep an eye on the notice board for updates.
