Worship

Worship is a key part of our life together as a church in the community. As a village church, we offer worship in different styles, but with the same relaxed and friendly feel as we praise God and grow in our faith.

Picture17Family Worship (Sundays at 10.30am)
A time to worship and explore the Bible together. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays, we welcome all who are baptised to Communion, including children. Here we are a church family, united as we remember Jesus.
On the 3rd Sunday we have prayer for healing as part of our service.

Holy Communion (1st Tuesday at 10.30am)    –  A more traditional quiet service

Childrens’ Half Hour (2nd Sunday at 10.30am)
A lively half-hour service specially for children and families – but which draws from all ages!

Family Worship (4th Sunday at 10.30am)
We welcome visiting speakers each month at this service and are very grateful for this support from other local churches, while Martin is away at his other church.

Breathing Space (5th Sunday at 6pm)
A time of music, songs and quiet reflection

Messy Church (usually 2nd Saturday at 4.00pm. See diary on noticeboard)
An activity-based family afternoon, with crafts, songs, a Bible story, and a meal! 2 hours of fun that can get quite messy … so don’t wear your best clothes!!

Breakfast Church – we occasionally have a breakfast church when we gather for bacon butties, croissants and cereals … and an informal act of worship as part of the meal. These are proving popular and another expression of how we can be church together.
